Ahead of the A-400M Arrival, Two Indonesian Air Force Personnel Complete Loadmaster Training in Spain
The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) continues to strengthen its readiness for the arrival of the A-400M heavy transport aircraft, which will strengthen Air Squadron 31.
As part of this effort, two TNI AU personnel, Captain Tech Muhammad Abduh and Sergeant Kristanto, have completed Loadmaster Training at the Airbus Military and Airspace International Training Center (AMSL) in Seville, Spain, for 46 days, ending October 10, 2025.
In this first batch, the two personnel were trained to understand and operate the cargo loading system of this heavy transport aircraft.
The training material covers three main sections. First, Computer-Based Training (CBT), which provides a basic understanding of the A-400M's general systems and the role of the loadmaster. Second, Loadmaster Work Station (LMWS), which trains participants in developing a Cargo Loading Plan (CLP) using the Loadmaster Emulator and LMWS Room. Third, Cargo Hold Training (CHT), which provides hands-on experience in loading and unloading in the aircraft's cargo hold.
This training is a crucial step for the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) in improving the professionalism and technical capabilities of its personnel to support the optimal operation of the A-400M aircraft. (Dispenau)
