Wuling Car Named Most Trusted Chinese Brand in Indonesia
The presence of Chinese brands in Indonesia’s automotive industry continues to show its strength. This is proven by Wuling Motors (Wuling) successfully winning a prestigious award at the Chinese WOW Brand in Indonesia 2026 event.
The appreciation was officially presented during The 14th Annual Jakarta Marketing Week 2026 recently. In the event, Wuling managed to secure the Silver predicate.
This achievement is not just an ordinary award, but the result of in-depth research measuring how strongly a brand builds customer loyalty through advocacy in the domestic market.
Responding to this accomplishment, Brian Gomgom, Brand Communication Senior Manager of Wuling Motors, expressed his gratitude. He emphasized that this award will serve as fuel for the company to continue innovating.
“This achievement encourages us to keep delivering products and services that are relevant to the community’s mobility needs,” he said in a statement on Tuesday (12/5/2026).
“In line with the spirit of ‘Wuling Built in Indonesia For You’, we will continue to do our best to provide modern and comfortable driving experiences for Indonesian families,” Brian explained.
The methodology used to determine the winners is highly technical and comprehensive. The research adopted the 5A Customer Path approach, which includes the stages of Aware, Appeal, Ask, Act, and Advocate.
The main indicator is the Brand Advocacy Ratio (BAR), a metric that specifically assesses the relationship between the brand and consumers based on the level of customer recommendations.
This national-scale survey involved 300 respondents for each product category and was conducted over a relatively long period, from December 2025 to January 2026.
Wuling’s success in achieving this title reflects their mature strategy in providing a diverse product lineup that truly meets the needs of Indonesian society.
To date, Wuling has built a complete vehicle ecosystem, ranging from conventional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles, Hybrid technology, Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), to Electric Vehicles (EV) that have been well received by the market.
Wuling has also consistently strengthened its after-sales service fundamentals. Massive expansion of its dealer network across various regions in Indonesia and easy access to service have become the main keys to building long-term consumer trust.
Starting with the establishment of its 60-hectare factory in Cikarang in 2017, Wuling continues to prove itself as a key player that grows together with Indonesian society through technological innovations relevant to the needs of the times.
