M-Paspor Application Can Check The E-Passport Quota

 The M-Paspor application has been updated and available on AppStore (iOS) and Google Playstore (Android). There are several new features that make it easier for passport applicants, one of which is changes in stages in the selection of immigration offices and selection of passport types.

"In the latest version of the M-Pasport, the applicant can check the list of immigration offices and ordinary passport quotas or available electronic passports. We hope this adds comfort for the applicant during the passport service process, "said Subkoordinator of Public Relations Directorate General of Immigration, Achmad Nur Saleh on Sunday (03/26/2023).

In addition to the stages of selecting the type of passport and immigration office, the M-Paspor update version also provides a one-day-to-do passport acceleration service registration. People who want to take advantage of passport acceleration facilities can register in the M-Pasport application a maximum of one day before arrival to the Immigration Office.

If the applicant suddenly has to take care of a passport on that day, the applicant can still walk in the immigration office for passport acceleration services. The applicant is advised to arrive early due to the limited service quota.

"Then for the arrival time there is also a change. If previously the distribution of interview time was given based on the morning, afternoon and evening sessions, the quota selection was now changed based on hours. So the time is more specific, "he said.

Procedures and Terms of Use of Tourism Visa

Since January 2023, foreign nationals (foreigners) have been able to apply for a tourist visa visa through the Immigration Foreign Traffic Module (molina) website, molina.imigration.go.id without the need for a guarantor. When passing through the immigration checkpoint, this visa user will get a residence permit sticker from the visits that are valid for 60 days from the date of arrival.

"Please note that foreigners who submit a tourist visa through molina.imigration.go.id cannot extend their permission. So, foreigners must leave Indonesia after the 60 days of validity period ended, "explained the Public Relations Sub -coordinator of the Directorate General of Immigration, Achmad Nur Saleh on Friday (10/03/2023).

He continued, foreigners could not extend a tourist visa visa published through Molina Immigration because they did not have a guarantor in Indonesia. To be able to live in Indonesia for a longer time, foreigners need to have a guarantor of Indonesian citizens who can take responsibility for the activities of foreigners while in Indonesia.

"Travel visa services at Molina Immigration are intended to provide easier options for foreigners who want to vacation in Indonesia but not for a long time. They are allowed to submit a visa without guarantor. The B211A visit visa that can be extended for a maximum of 180 days can be submitted by the guarantor of Indonesian citizens through the visa-online.imigrasi.go.id website, "he said.

To apply for a visa visit at molina.imigrasi.go.id, foreigners need to prepare a valid passport at least 6 (six) months, proof of ownership of savings funds for the past 3 (three) months at least 2,000 USD, tickets to leave Indonesian territory , and a color photo with a red background.

After foreigners fill out the form and upload all requirements documents, they can directly make payments with credit/debit cards bearing the visa, mastercard or JCB logo. The visa will be sent digitally to the foreigner's e-mail address.

For further consultation regarding immigration services, people can contact live chat at www.imigrasi.go.id, Monday -Friday at 09.00 -15.00 WIB.

Visa visits several trips or also known as multiple entry visas (Index D212) can be submitted by foreign nationals (foreigners) from all countries and can be used to enter Indonesia from all Immigration Inspection Places (TPI). This policy is determined through Circular Letter Number IMI-0072.GR.01.01 of 2023 which is valid from 25 February 2023.

"Previously, multiple entry visa was launched after Pandemi C0v1d-19 in November 2022 and was tested on citizens and Permanent Resident Singapore. They are only allowed to enter through TPI in the Riau Islands to support the Special Economic Zone (KEK). After the evaluation, it was decided that multiple entry visas can be used to enter RI from all immigration checkpoints, "explained the Public Relations Sub -Coordinator of the Directorate General of Immigration, Achmad Nur Saleh on Wednesday (03/08/2023).

To submit a visa visit several trips (VKBP), foreigners must have a guarantor in the form of corporations or companies in Indonesia. Submission of multiple entry visas is carried out by the guarantor, both online through the visa-online.imigrasi.go.id website or through representatives of the Republic of Indonesia abroad. The PNBP fee charged is Rp. 3,000,000 per person/year.

The main requirements for submitting VKBP are as follows:

  1. A Valid National Passport for At least 18 (Eighteen) Months;
  2. Letter of Sponsorship from the Sponsor Except for Tourism Purposes;
  3. Proof of having living expenses for HIMSELF AND HIS Family While in Indonesian in the form of a checking account, savings book, or deposit for the last 3 (three) months belonging to the foreigner or sponsor in an amount of at least 2,000 (two thousand us dollars) or equivalent;
  4. A return ticket or connecting tickets to continue their journey to another country, except for the crews of means of transport who join the ship/vessel in Indonesia and continue their trip to another country.
  5. A Recent Color Photograph with a White Background was taken for at least the last 3 (three) months.

"Multiple entry visas can be used for activities such as business talks, tourism, governmental tasks, purchases of goods, meetings, humanitarian reasons and transit. We also emphasize that this visa cannot be used to work in Indonesia, "Achmad said.
