IMOX 2025: 150 Exhibitors Showcase Maritime Industry Innovations in Batam
Batam once again hosted the Indonesia Marine & Offshore Expo (IMOX) 2025, an annual event that brings together maritime and shipping industry players from various countries. The exhibition serves as a platform for collaboration, innovation exchange, and business networking.
The eighth edition of the exhibition took place at the Radisson Golf & Convention Center, Batam, starting August 6, 2025. IMOX 2025 attracted more than 150 exhibitors from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Canada, India, Korea, and China.
"It is estimated that around 4,000 visitors will attend this three-day event," said Kenny Wong, CEO of Fireworks Trade Media Group, on Monday, July 28, 2025.
One of the main events of IMOX 2025 is the "Empowering Batam as the Shipbuilding and Offshore Nexus of Southeast Asia" Conference, which will be held on August 6, 2025. This program will bring together leading industry associations such as INSA, ABUPI, INAMPA, and IPERINDO to discuss the opportunities and challenges of developing Indonesia's blue economy.
On the second day, August 7, the Indonesia Maritime Technology Seminar & Workshop will feature presentations from leading companies such as Pertamina Maritime Training Center, Roxtec Singapore Pte Ltd, and PT Han Indo Millennium. This event will run from 10:00 to 14:30.
"The program will continue with the Asia Connect 2025 Conference from 14:00 to 17:00 WIB on Floor G, organized by Kadin as part of IMOX," said Kenny.
The final day of the exhibition, August 8, will focus on exhibition tours. Participants and visitors will have a full day to network, explore the products and technologies on display, and engage in business discussions in the exhibition area.
Kenny Yong emphasized that the goal of IMOX is to facilitate a beneficial exchange of knowledge. "We are enthusiastic about welcoming industry players from across the region," he added.
The Chairman of the Batam City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Jadi Rajagukguk, stated that this year's IMOX offers a larger and more diverse exhibition. "We have expanded the exhibition area by almost 80 percent compared to last year," said Raja. This area provides more space for participants to showcase their latest innovations and technologies.
