Tips for Setting 10 Features via the Touchscreen in the Mitsubishi Destinator

Feature completeness has become one of the key selling points offered by the Mitsubishi Destinator. This latest midsize SUV from Mitsubishi not only excels in premium safety features but also provides easy adjustments through the touchscreen in the cabin.

The launch of the Mitsubishi Destinator on July 17, 2025, marked a strategic step for Mitsubishi Motors in the Indonesian market. This vehicle represents the maturity desired by adult and established consumers, while also offering a dynamic appeal to younger buyers with its attractive design and abundant features.

The Mitsubishi Destinator, produced at the Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia assembly plant in Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java, is built around the product concept of “Confidence Booster for Energetic Families.”

The spacious cabin with its proven three-row configuration delivers generous and comfortable seating. The overall firm cabin lines combined with soft materials successfully create a warm atmosphere.

The Mitsubishi Destinator’s dashboard adopts a horizontal design, with the wide touchscreen as the main focal point. This touchscreen has become a distinctive attraction that supports driving activities.

“The 12.3-inch screen has become the main point of view in the Mitsubishi Destinator. So all interactions and interactive features are operated from there. In my opinion, this is an extremely good convenience because the operating system is very easy to use,” said Rifat Sungkar, Brand Ambassador of Mitsubishi Motors Indonesia.

“For example, the ambient lighting feature has several colors. It really represents the character of the vehicle owner. As for the sunroof, it can be operated manually or digitally. So, it’s fun to have,” he added.

Touchscreen Specifications and Features of the Destinator

The Mitsubishi Destinator’s touchscreen essentially uses a 12.3-inch SDA screen panel. This screen can connect to smartphones, navigation, entertainment, and communication systems. Moreover, drivers can use it to adjust various vehicle features.

The instrument panel integrates the SDA and driver display into one large monolithic panel. The 12.3-inch SDA system delivers a modern feel and enhances the driving experience by presenting various content, including a multimeter display that pays homage to the iconic triple-meter setup of the Pajero.

The screen also provides access to features such as the panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and connectivity functions.
