Police to Display Dozens of Robocops on July 1 at Monas Jakarta
The Indonesian National Police will display various types of robots wearing police attributes to commemorate the 79th Bhayangkara Day at Monas, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
Various types of robots attract the attention of Monas visitors when the Indonesian National Police conduct a dirty rehearsal in preparation for the Bhayangkara Day event.
A total of 25 robots will be displayed consisting of two Robot Tank units, two Ropi Robot units, one Drone Agriculture Robot unit and, ten Robot Dog units, and ten Humanoid Robot units. Head of Public Relations of the Indonesian National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, emphasized that the commemoration of Bhayangkara Day belongs to all Indonesian people.
"We are trying to make this moment a form of institutional accountability to the public, that the Indonesian National Police will continue to improve and serve wholeheartedly," he said.
The public seemed enthusiastic about watching the action of these robots, even willing to get hot to see their operations firsthand. Several parents also brought their children to witness the sophisticated technology demonstrated by the Police.
According to officers at the location, these robots have been at Monas since Tuesday (24/6) and will continue to be used in a series of events commemorating the 79th Bhayangkara Day. With the presence of these robots, the Police show their commitment to adopting modern technology to improve services to the community.
