PO Tinara Trans Introduces Medium Bus with Touristo F25 Body

PT Tinara Mustika Raja, better known as PO Tinara Trans, has once again strengthened its tourism service lineup by releasing a new fleet unit from New Armada body manufacturer in Magelang.

The arrival of this new bus represents a strategic move for the Sidoarjo, East Java-based operator to meet the increasingly competitive demand in the tourism travel market, particularly in the medium bus segment that offers agility while remaining luxurious.

This latest bus is eye-catching with its Touristo F25 body, the newest evolution in New Armada’s medium bus lineup. It features a more dynamic appearance with well-balanced proportions perfectly suited for a front-engine chassis.

Unlike its sibling, the Skylander R25, which was designed for big buses with aggressive and futuristic design lines, the Touristo F25 has a more compact character while still carrying the modern design spirit of the “R25 Series.”

On the exterior, PO Tinara Trans maintains its fresh visual identity with a dominant bright light-green color. The outer appearance becomes even more iconic thanks to yellow diamond graphics that adorn the sides and rear of the body.

The front face of this bus, nicknamed ‘Jaka Umbaran’, adopts New Armada’s latest design language with sharp LED headlights and a diamond-cut patterned grille enhanced by the iconic Mercedes-Benz star logo.

Stepping into the cabin, the interior of the ‘Jaka Umbaran’ bus offers comfort comparable to an executive bus. The interior space is dominated by a combination of dark colors and wood accents on the floor, creating a warm and luxurious atmosphere.

The passenger seats come in an ergonomic 2-2 configuration, upholstered in dark blue synthetic leather with diamond-pattern stitching that matches the exterior. Every seat is equipped with seatbelts for high safety standards.

Comfort-supporting features are also very complete, including a modern ceiling lighting system with ambient light, neat overhead luggage racks, and entertainment facilities in the form of an LED TV. A water dispenser is also provided for passengers’ needs during the journey.

Behind its attractive appearance, this bus is built on a Mercedes-Benz OF 917 L chassis (Long Wheelbase), which has a wheelbase of 5,300 mm and has been proven for its durability.

This chassis is powered by a 4D34i diesel engine, a 4-cylinder inline engine with a capacity of 3,907 cc. It is claimed to produce 170 hp at 2,500 rpm with a maximum torque of 520 Nm at 1,500 rpm.

The Euro 4 emission-standard engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission (MT) model MO36S6, enabling the bus to reach a top speed of around 110 km/h with a climbing ability of up to 31% at a gross vehicle weight of 10.4 tons.

The suspension system uses Air Suspension optimized for Indonesian road conditions and is supported by a full air brake system that ensures extra safety.

The combination of a reliable Mercedes-Benz chassis with the artistic Touristo F25 body makes this new PO Tinara Trans fleet a top choice for tourists seeking classy comfort in a trendy medium bus.
