Elon Musk Lost with a Blackout

It was very interesting to watch Elon Musk's live streaming interview in the US with Anindya Novyan Bakrie at the B20 Summit forum this afternoon. The first statement that uncle Elon conveyed was, sorry the lights are out here, and only lit using candles....

The topic discussed was "Navigating Future Disruption of Global Technological Innovation. Om Elon conveyed many related things, Twitter, Tesla, Space X, Starlink, as well as future ideas such as travel to Mars and intercontinental transportation using rockets.

The world of the future will be full of amazing technologies that were unimaginable before, new technological disruptions will definitely occur and will be unstoppable. And that will change the way we live, as now we can follow and attend events anywhere in the world through live video streaming like uncle Elon Musk.

The need for electrical energy is essential for today's technology and also in the future. Modern humans will not be able to survive without a supply of electricity, so the stability of the supply of supply must be the concern of all parties.

This becomes even more crucial in the energy transition era. Energy transitions must be carried out carefully and not done in a hurry. Excessive dependence on Variable Renewable Energy (VRE) such as solar pv and wind turbines needs further study. The acceleration of the termination of the PLTU cannot be carried out before the availability of a replacement generator that is both reliable and environmentally friendly.

This is what is known as Energy Security, where energy supply must meet the 4A requirements, namely availability, affordability, accessibility and acceptability.

Uncle Elon Musk is currently the number 1 richest person in the world, has the most sophisticated hi-tech company in the world, has an extraordinary vision but clucks and dies when the lights go out....

B20 Indonesia was a complete success.

We need to work together to become stronger (again). Period.

As an Italian representative, I was thrilled to be invited to the Summit.

The world's greatest entrepreneurs and business executives gathered in Bali to share their perspectives and make suggestions to the G20 Indonesia Presidency in 2022. Every area of interest has been addressed and thoroughly discussed:

Economic Development, Climate Change, Digital Transformation, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies, Enabling Entrepreneurship, Job Creation, MSMEs Support, and Women Empowerment

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, connected remotely; he canceled his trip to Bali at the last minute, but his charisma compensated for his absence. An excellent panel conducted by Anindya Novyan. During the call, Elon was dressed in Batik, a traditional clothing created in Sulawesi, a region rich in nickel, which is essential for the production of electric batteries.

"I'm optimistic about Indonesia," he said.

Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance, addressed one of the major issues surrounding the Crypto Space, higher taxation for companies, with a specific drive to issue more licenses and regulate this environment more, particularly in light of the FTX bankruptcy. I've loved meeting him and briefly discussing the crypto community in Bali.

I'd like to thank Chairman Arsjad Rasjid of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) for his excellent speech about inclusiveness and collaboration at the Boston Consulting Group CEO breakfast (BCG). There, I met one of the organizers, Michael McAdoo, who is a one-of-a-kind leader in his field with extensive knowledge and expertise.

But I'd want to thank Mykola Volkivskyi, an Advisor to Members of the Ukrainian Parliament with a big heart and competence in every sector. We visited the Atlantic Council's Global Food Security Forum, where President Joko Widodo received the Global Citizen Award.

One article cannot express my gratitude to all of the wonderful leaders and individuals I met. I am grateful for the stimulating discussions, the valuable recommendations and advise regarding my projects, for listening to me talk about Crypto and Blockchain (like Lino Strangis, whom I hope to see again very soon), and for going all the way from their home country to Bali, the Island of Gods.

It was thrilling to be a part of this summit, and it will be much more thrilling to witness the tangible improvements that will be implemented in the future.

Ruggero Arico, Jan von Rosenstiel, Iman Firmansyah, Candace Johnson, Natasha Burgvits, Gil Petersil, Michael Lee, Josie von Sydow, Robert Ian Bonnick, Shinta Kamdani, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Meliza Musa Rusli, and Barbara Beltrame Giacomello are some of these amazing leaders.
