GIIAS Semarang 30 New Cars Exhibited at Marina Convention Center
Semarang - The Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) Series 2022 automobile exhibition series will make its debut in Semarang, Central Java. The Marina Convention Center will host GIIAS Semarang 2022 from November 23-27, 2022. GIIAS Semarang will be an event to open up information on the newest advancements in the automobile sector for the people of Central Java over the five days of implementation.
According to Kukuh Kumara, General Secretary of Gaikindo, the implementation of GIIAS Semarang 2022 has the potential to grow further due to the rapid expansion of the automotive sector in Central Java.
"We are certain that, like earlier GIIAS series, GIIAS Semarang will become a significant agenda for the Indonesian automotive sector in the future, introducing new models and innovations from the newest cars," said Kukuh.
Kukuh went on to say that Central Java's domestic sales growth achievement is now ranked fourth in Indonesia for the 2018-2021 term. Gaikindo feels that with the acquisition of GIIAS, Central Java has tremendous growth potential.
Kukuh also highlighted Gaikindo's intention to continue adding GIIAS hosting cities in the coming years. "It has been demonstrated that each GIIAS event can offer momentum for the success of the automobile sector," he stated, "therefore we will continue to make efforts to host GIIAS in various places."
GIIAS Semarang will present the newest automotive technology and goods, including electric cars, from major global automotive manufacturers, which will also serve as magnets for holding the GIIAS 2022 series in each city.
GIIAS Semarang 2022 will exhibit the newest technology and products from nine passenger car manufactures, including Daihatsu, DFSK, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Toyota, and Wuling, during its debut event. Six motorcycle manufacturers will also display their most recent models. Benelli, Keeway, Exotic Bike, Pacific E-series, Polytron, and United E-Motor are the six brands.
Visitors will be able to learn about the benefits of the cars on exhibit directly through the Test Drive and Test Ride programs. The test drive program at GIIAS Semarang is unique in various ways. Visitors may test drive dozens of cars equipped with cutting-edge technologies on a test track that is longer than the whole GIIAS 2022 series. The GIIAS Semarang 2022 test driving track is 2 kilometers long, stretching between the Marina Convention Center and Jalan Marina Raya.
GIIAS Semarang 2022 is open from 11.00 to 21.00 WIB throughout the week and from 10.00 to 21.00 WIB on weekends. From 14 to 21 November 2022, exhibition admission tickets will be available through an online pre-sale program on the GIIAS Auto360 application at a discounted price of IDR 10,000 on weekdays and IDR 15,000 on weekends.
